IMAGINE walking to work; you’ve picked up your corner store coffee and bacon-egg-and-cheese…you’ve hopped off the J train and you’re almost to your destination, bopping back and forth and plugged into your headphones, when all of a sudden you realize the cross-section that is usually so familiar is now packed with hundreds of vendors clad in emerald green and carrying -wait- what is that? Pickle lollipops???

Yes, that is correct- this fall, Taste Collection lost its Annual Lower East Side Pickle Day virginity, October 15^th 2017 on Orchard Street between Delancey and E. Houston. Orchard was once again transformed into a pickle bazaar, filling the LES with 20+ picklers, tasty pickled and non-pickled treats, tons of local boutiques like ours and restaurants, live music, games, activities and the world’s first EVER home pickling/dancing contest

But really, who knew so many things went well with pickles?! From champagne to pickled macaroons supplied by our amazing shop neighbors over at Sweet Buttons– everything was absolutely perfect! Cheers to a wonderful and warm Lower East Side afternoon and hopefully many more Pickle Days to come!
