Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself!
Well, I’m an actor/musician/photographer/editor, born in the Philippines, grew up in Australia, lived in London, Los Angeles and have been a New Yorker for the past 10 years. I consider myself a citizen of the global village.
Q: How did you find yourself in NYC?
I was signed to Universal/Decca whose main office was in NYC, and every time I came to visit here I just fell more and more in love with this city.
Q: Do you have a favorite Christmas carol?
HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS and THE CHRISTMAS SONG… classics but they warm my heart.
Q: What was the last gift you gave someone?
It was a helicopter ride over NYC.
Q: Where did you study performing arts?/ What’s it like performing here vs. anywhere else in the world that you’ve traveled and performed?
I never had any formal training in the arts. I kind of just fell into it and learned on the job, working with legends, and soaking in their awesomeness. Performing in NY is always a “pinch me, I must be dreaming” moment. There is so much competition to get yourself a job and the expectations are high. So it can be very stressful but the rewards are priceless.
Q: What are your other interests?
Snow-skiing, fitness, travel, film-making, the pursuit of justice and freedom, and above all, LOVE!
Q: Favorite place to travel?
Europe… with Japan a close second.
Q: Which parts of the performing arts industry bothers you?
Q: Which parts of the performing arts industry do you love?
Q: Tell us a little bit about the process in which your characters come out?
I always try to draw from my own experience. How would I react if I were in the same situation, with what I know about the character I am to portray? For example, no-one sets out to be a “villain”, but their situation may make them behave in a certain way. With preparation, I love the spontaneity of what happens …
Q: What’s your go to karaoke song?
BOOM! SHAKE THE ROOM.
Q: Tell us about how you found out about Taste Collection? / how did you meet Sophie?
Q: Where do you hope to see yourself in the next 10 years? Or 5 years?
Q: What piece of advice would you give someone going into your industry in 2017?
Q: Anything else you’d like us to know and include while we’re writing about you?
