The 90’s era was the greatest decade ever… A lot of people would say this to be true. Music, film, television and entertainment was just purely different and real back then. For all of us who grew up in the 90’s we find this to be true. Heck, even football and the world cup was better back then…
Back 2 The Video Store is a pop up currently situated at the 3rd floor of the Virgin Hotel in midtown New York City. The vibe was so welcoming that it brought back so many memories immediately. The DVD rentals which were once even BETAMAX tapes were nostalgic.
Arcade video games were strategically placed around the venue with games like Marvel, Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam that once were the center of my childhood. Blow up and posters of famous characters and movies were scattered around the venue as well.
As for food I had the smashed burger and paired it with the MIB cocktail which was a Rum and Ube concoction which made this trip down memory lane a very memorable experience indeed…
