Spanish cuisine is such a perfect choice for dinner and drinks paired with conversation. Starting with a nice bottle of Vino Tinto along with some tapas is just an amazing experience plainly no matter where you are. We have found a gem of a restaurant  tucked away here in Piermont. Basque Tapas Bar is a local favorite for the residents and people do travel to come here as well like ourselves. We made a 6:30 pm reservation and once we arrived 15 minutes earlier there was already a long wait.

The bar was packed with glasses of wine, olives and bread while the dining room was buzzing with guests indulging themselves with this unique experience. As we got seated the ordering was left to me and the classics were soon on their way. From gambas, albondigas, pan con tomate, manchego and jamon along with a nice bottle of Rioja, the evening was going according to plan.

The paella con mariscos arrived as our main entree and was the centerpiece of the evening. Such wonderful flavors carefully blended in that made you want to eat more with every bite.

The flan and cheesecake were both excellent choices as well to end the meal, overall a 10/10…
