Chez Les Frenchies

Chez Les Frenchies

The art of the Parisian café is one of the most beloved concepts in the world and certainly one of the most inviting. There is something undeniably relaxing about stopping by a French café for a matcha latte and a freshly made baguette sandwich while enjoying a good book. Café culture is an essential part of the Parisian chic lifestyle, a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation.
Seeing the array of available viennoiseries immediately brought back memories of my time in Paris. The selection of sandwiches made with freshly baked baguettes was a welcome sight, while the aromas drifting throughout the café created an irresistible atmosphere. Notes of warm pastries filled the air alongside the sweet scent of freshly prepared éclairs. The colorful display of macarons was equally tempting, drawing the attention of nearly every guest and often requiring a second glance.
For my meal, I chose my perennial favorite—the smoked salmon baguette—accompanied by a chocolate éclair and a cup of matcha latte. The baguette had the perfect crust, providing a satisfying texture with every bite, while the éclair was soft, fluffy, buttery, and everything a classic French pastry should be.
The experience was simply perfect and exactly what I needed: a quick recharge during a busy day, accompanied by timeless French café classics in the comfort of a neighborhood corner café. Moments like these are a reminder of why Parisian café culture continues to captivate people around the world.
