If there is 1 type of fusion cuisine that easily brings people through the door I believe it's French-Mex. Who wouldn't want to eat a taco with a robust sauce?

Here at Maisonetta located at 141 Lincoln Avenue in the South Bronx the marriage of French cuisine and Mexican cuisine has been perfected. A local favorite among the residents here in Mott Haven, this spot has been serving flavorful and creative comfort food dishes to its patrons weekly.

Every time I have friends or family visiting me in the area this is 1 spot I always take them. We always start with the chips and guacamole with a side of old school margarita of course. Tacos are my go to here and the al pastor, chorizo and tuna tartare have been my favorite so far. The mussels are also a must try during the colder months…
