Paris Cafe

Paris Cafe

It’s October in NYC and the atmosphere is buzzing around the Financial District with an Oktoberfest celebration along Stone Street and both the Mets and Yankees are in the playoffs packing all the bars around town. We decided to make our way to 1 of the oldest running establishments here in the city, Paris Cafe. Established in 1873 and is now considered an institution amongst the locals serving their favorite Parisian inspired dishes.

It was a packed evening and we were lucky enough to get a table at the backroom with the playoffs featured on live screen. Perfect time to enjoy baseball with a few pints of their house brewed Paris lager and some fresh blue point oysters. Next for us was a shared baby gem Caesar salad which had a nice crisp and balanced flavors. We ended the evening with a Bang, going for the Paris smash burger for our entree. This was a very good burger with 2 patties on a potato bun with gruyere cheese and onion jam. This experience brought me back to my Parisian memories… #kulinaryatravels will be back for more next week…
