What can I say about Miami? It is definitely one of the best places to visit no matter the time of year. The sun is shining, the ocean is inviting, and the food scene is extraordinary. Major Food Group has once again outdone themselves with ZZ Club, their exclusive members-only club.
I was lucky enough to be invited by General Manager Samuel Ware during my birthday weekend, and I can honestly say this was one meal to remember.
The moment I arrived for my 12 noon lunch reservation, I was greeted warmly at the door and the staff already knew who I was — which, as we all know, is the perfect start to an amazing hospitality experience. My server was incredibly attentive and had exceptional knowledge of the menu, while the sommelier knew exactly which wines would perfectly complement my meal.
My first course was the salmon roe toast, and my God, the meal could not have started any better. Next came the uni and caviar hash browns — special, truly special. The wagyu hot dog was completely out of this world; that dish was lethal in the best possible way.
I then transitioned into a few pieces of sushi, with the salmon and tomato being my absolute favorite. To finish, I had the pistachio ice cream sandwich, which was the perfect ending to an unforgettable birthday lunch.
