Why Vegas Should Be Your Next Summer Destination
Here at Taste Collection we are always dreaming about our next vacation. But When you can’t make up your mind on where to go and what to do, there is only one place in the world that has it all. We are talking about Vegas, baby!
Usually Vegas wouldn’t be top of mind when booking your perfect summer vacation, but indulge us as we list some reasons why you should pack a bag and head for the strip!
1.The strip has it all
You can start your day riding a gondola down the canals of Venice and then head to the Eiffel Tower to check out 360 views of the famous vegas strip. In the evening head on to the Luxor hotel and casino and transport yourself to ancient egypt. You can make all your vacation fantasies a reality in one place as hopping around hotels on the strip is akin to a mini tour around the world (filled with casinos of course).
2.Pool parties
Vegas is infamous for its day time pool parties. Check out Daylight at the Mandalay Bay which creates a daytime party atmosphere similar to Ibiza. Sip on some rose and lounge by the pool to beats by some of the world's best DJs. If you want to splurge you can even rent out your on poolside cabana with a group of friends and get some VIP treatment. Other notable pool parties and day clubs to check out are Bare Pool Lounge at the Mirage and Encore Beach Club at the Wynn.
3.Plush hotel rooms
Sometimes the best part of your vacation is splurging on a plush hotel room and enjoying room service. Your hotel room is your sanctuary, especially in the summer when the desert temperatures are scorching and the AC is your best friend. Lounge in your hotel room all day to get yourself pampered (be sure to check out your hotels spa services) before you head for a crazy night out on the strip.
4.Shows and sports
If casinos and nightlife are not your thing, you can spend your time watching shows and even sporting events. Hit up the many famous shows produced by Cirque de Soleil such as the psychedelic Beatles inspired show, Love or their new rauncier and sexier Zumanity. Get blown away by moves and tricks of the only breakdancing crew to have a residency on the strip, the Jabbawockeez. Play some golf in one of the many vegas golf courses or watch some of the many sporting events held in town. In its inaugural season the Las Vegas Golden Knights made it to the finals of the National Hockey League's stanley cup. This rookie team is sure to draw more hockey fans and crowds to the strip for its second season.
We went to vegas for a summer photoshoot and while we were there for work, we discovered that there is so much more to explore. Whether you want a low key relaxing vacation or a high key turnt up time on the strip - Vegas, is your next summer destination
