The SmokeHouse… 1 of America’s greatest culinary perfections. The art of smoking meats perfected in the Southern states has long made its way around the country and even the world. 

Brisket being the most popular item is definitely 1 of my favorites. There is just something about the smokiness along with the juiciness and tenderness of the meat. My first ever encounter with smoked meats was with the baby back ribs which sparked the curiosity in searching for various flavors.

Wings and turkey breasts are also staples and pulled pork as the primary sandwich staple. Burnt ends are also a popular choice along with the fatty pork belly. Popular sides are Mac and Cheese, Coleslaw, Creamed spinach and of course cornbread.

Hudson SmokeHouse in Mott Haven in South Bronx is my go to place to visit whenever I’m craving for smoked meats. Their sandwiches are all super good as well and don’t forget to get some fried oreos as well…
