Art Cafe

Art Cafe

Fall foliage is in full swing here in the Hudson Valley area and it’s this particular season that brings out the best out of New York State. The colors are out along with the sun and the chilly breeze blowing the leaves all over the place. I have always enjoyed this time of the year as it brings out a lot of new ingredients and the high sweaty temperatures are a thing of the past. Art Cafe located in downtown Nyack has long been serving outstanding Israeli cuisine along Broadway.

I have to admit that I have minimal knowledge about Israeli cuisine, especially Israeli breakfast cuisine as we had gone there after hearing the 8:30 am mass. I arrived super excited as this is a new experience for me and I envisioned a new set of flavors gracing my palette. We ordered a full set of breakfast after my matcha arrived, which was exceptional as well. The goat cheese malawach was my favorite with the date honey that blended so well with the goat cheese. The mushroom Torti and Shakshooka were both unique in their own way as well.

I will definitely be back for more and the dinner menu specifically but for now this meal has left me longing to learn more about Israeli cuisine… #kulinaryatravels will be back for more next week…
