Marufuku Ramen

It’s winter time already here in NYC and for most of us food aficionados that means 1 thing… It’s Ramen season already 🙂
My love for Japanese cuisine goes deep into each season as the variety in offer is so profound…
The ramen bowl has become so popular in the past 2 decades as Japanese cuisine hit the mainstream. Eating Sushi, Rice bowls or Soup bowls have now become a staple part of our diet thanks to shoes from Netflix and Instagram photos shared worldwide.
Marufuku Ramen has opened a location in the East Village on 2nd Avenue and has instantly become a local favorite. Originally having locations both in California and Texas, their East Village spot is hitting stride.
The Tonkotsu DX was surely a hit, 1 of the best bowls of ramen I’ve had so far. The karaage and gyoza were both excellent as well. This place has definitely raised the bar and initiated the start of Ramen season as well…
Until the next adventure… #kulinaryatravels will be back for more next week…
