Pomp and Circumstance

If there is 1 item on the menu that entices me to try a new restaurant it would be the bread. In that case Brooklyn has Pomp and Circumstance that has been serving pita with an 11 year old sourdough that makes the flavor points of their pita just unique. Whether it’s the regular or sesame paired with a wide variety of dips that range from foie gras mousse to caponata, it’s just a wonderful experience when combined.
The lahmajun flatbed is not to be missed as well and paired perfectly with the blood orange negroni. The risotto and pulpo were both excellent choices as well to transition into the entree portion of the meal. The shrimp bolognese and lamb meatballs completed our savory dining experience.
The roasted chickpea ice cream was so distinct and unique that it even paired well with the sesame chocolate tort.
Pomp and Circumstance, thank you for being here and I shall return…
Until the next adventure… #kulinaryatravels will be back for more next week…
